1st - 27th October

27forParkinson’s is back bigger and better than ever!

Last year, we asked you to walk each day for 27 days in support of over 27,000 people living with Parkinson’s. This year, you can do so much more!

The challenge will run from 1-27th October and is free to register.

We have expanded the opportunities for you to participate in the challenge to include three different ways you can get involved, so there is a challenge for everyone.

Simply choose your way to be involved and do it your way.

This year you can choose to either; Be Active, Be Connected or Make Change for 27 Days during October - which challenge will you do?

You make a difference!

Last year, thanks to the incredible effort of over 950 participants, we raised over $580,000 to support people living with Parkinson’s.

All funds raised help improve the quality of life for the over 27,000 people living with Parkinson’s. Every day, our multi-disciplinary health team provide information, education, advice and peer support services to improve the life of the Parkinson’s community.

During the 12 month period before and after the campaign, the funds raised enabled us to:

  • Support over 3,000 calls taken by our Health Team
  • Make over 1,000 outbound phone calls to our members ensuring they were supported during these challenging times
  • Deliver over 80 different education sessions plus so much more!

Behind every number above is a person, who have been provided critical support by Parkinson’s Victoria. All of which was made possible by individuals and teams who took part in 27forParkinsons.

With your help, this year we can extend our support to those living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, peer support groups and health care professionals.
